• Klaus Heinemann – Chief Executive Officer
  Klaus Heinemann has been CEO of AerCap since April 2003. He has over 25 years of experience in the aviation financing industry. Klaus Heinemann joined AerCap in October 2002 from DVB Bank, where he was a Member of the Executive Board. He started his career with Bank of America in 1976, building up its Aviation Finance department in Europe. In 1988 he joined The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, London, as Deputy General Manager and Head of Aviation Group and was later appointed Joint General Manager, Head Office, being responsible for the Project and Aviation Finance division before this division was sold to DVB Bank in 1998. Klaus Heinemann holds the degree of Diplom-Kaufmann (Bachelor of Commerce) from the University of Hamburg, Germany.
