Reynoud Simonis – Chief Technical Officer
Following his graduation in 1988 as an MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Reynoud Simonis started his aviation career in 1989 with the Schreiner Aviation Group. Having held positions as an Assistant Quality Manager and Technical Manager, he moved to Lagos, Nigeria in 1992 in order to re-organize Schreiner Aero Contractors of Nigeria, a subsidiary of Schreiner with a fleet of 22 fixed wing and 16 rotary wing aircraft. In 1993 he was appointed Head of Material Management and Cost Control. In 1996 Reynoud Simonis joined Transavia Airlines as Quality Manager responsible for the successful introduction of JAR-OPS 1. He left Transavia in 1998 to work for AerCap as a Manager Technical Services. He was promoted to Senior Vice President Technical Services in 2001.
