debis AirFinance Leases an Airbus A340 Widebody Aircraft to New Customer BWIA West Indies Airways

 

debis AirFinance announced today that it has delivered an Airbus A340-300 (MSN 016) to BWIA West Indies Airways Limited .

 

The aircraft will be operated primarily on routes from the Caribbean to the UK (London Heathrow and Manchester) and will enable the carrier to return to a full in-house operation on its Atlantic routes.

 

Klaus Heinemann, Chief Executive Officer of debis AirFinance, said:  “We welcome BWIA as a new customer to debis AirFinance.  This transaction is a clear sign that our re-marketing capability covers both the shorthaul and longhaul sectors and goes beyond narrowbody aircraft, the core aircraft type for operating leasing.”
