AirFinance
Has Delivered Airbus A320 to Irish Start-Up Eirjet
debis AirFinance, one
of the world's largest aircraft
leasing and asset management companies, announced today that it has placed an
Airbus A320-200 aircraft with
Eirjet, a new charter airline based at Shannon Airport
in Ireland.
The aircraft is owned by AerCo, an aircraft
securitisation vehicle, which currently owns a portfolio of 60 modern commercial
jet aircraft and for which debis AirFinance acts as servicer and administrative agent.
Eirjet
will operate flights from Dublin
and Shannon airport serving the Irish sun
holiday market. The airline plans to develop a secondary wet lease business providing
capacity for other airline operators.
