Frank Haspel to hand over to new CEO Klaus Heinemann

-         -         Frank Haspel to retire from his post as CEO on 31 March 2003

-          -          Klaus Heinemann's appointment as CEO to be effective from 1 April 2003                                                                        

 

debis AirFinance, one of the world's largest aircraft leasing, financing and asset management companies, announces the retirement of Frank Haspel  from the position of Chief Executive Officer of debis AirFinance with effect from 31 March 2003. Frank Haspel has been CEO since the inception of the business in 1995. He will be succeeded by Klaus Heinemann, currently Managing Director Sales & Marketing of debis AirFinance.

 

Frank Haspel has built the company into its current position as one of the market leaders in the industry. The shareholders of debis AirFinance- DaimlerChrysler Services, Bayerische Landesbank, DZ Bank, Dresdner Bank and HypoVereinsbank – have expressed their thanks to Frank Haspel for his commitment to the company’s growth and success over the years.

 

Klaus Heinemann's appointment as debis AirFinance’s new CEO takes effect from 1 April 2003. He has over 25 years experience in the aviation financing industry. He joined the debis AirFinance Board of Management as Managing Director Sales & Marketing in October 2002. Prior to which, he was a Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Verkehrsbank in Frankfurt, where he was in charge of Aviation and Corporate Finance. Before that, he held various positions in Aviation Financing for the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (1988-1998) and Bank of America (1976-1988).

 

Klaus Heinemann will chair the Board of Management of debis AirFinance, working with Heinrich Loechteken as Managing Director Finance, who joined the company in September 2002, and John McMahon as Managing Director Operations, who has been with the company since 1995.
