Islandsflug Leases Second Airbus A300 Freighter
from debis AirFinance
debis AirFinance, one of the world's
largest aircraft leasing and asset
management companies, has placed a second Airbus A300C4-600R Variant
F (MSN 758) on operating lease with Islandsflug h/f. With this new delivery
Islandsflug leases a total of three aircraft from debis AirFinance, one
B737-300 and two A300-600 freighters.

of debis AirFinance, said: “This placement of a widebody freighter shows
growing confidence in the air cargo sector. We are pleased to assist a
successful operator such as Islandsflug in expanding their fleet.”
Islandsflug based at Reykjavik Airport
will wet-lease the aircraft to AHK Air Hong Kong LTD, which is a joint
venture between Cathay Pacific and DHL. Islandsflug has shown steady growth
since the inception of its business in 1991 adding one or more aircraft per
year. The operator’s core business is ACMI Leasing (Aircraft, Crew,
Maintenance and Insurance) for jet aircraft. The present fleet consists of
four A300-600R Freighters, one A310-300 Freighter and seven Boeing 737-300
and -400. The airline is both dedicated to passenger and freight flights.
