debis AirFinance Has
Placed Two MD83 With Free Airways
New Italian
carrier Free Airways has taken delivery of two McDonnell Douglas MD83 on
operating lease from debis AirFinance. The aircraft were delivered on 29
November 2001 (MSN 49940) and 11 December 2001 (MSN 49937). Both lease
terms run for five years.
Free
Airways will operate charter flights from Italy to major European and
Mediterranean destinations.
debis AirFinance
has a total owned and managed fleet of 215 jets and turboprops (Boeing
incl. MDC, Airbus, Fokker, ATR, DHC) worth around US$ 5 billion and an
order of 30 Airbus A320-family aircraft valued at approximately US$ 1.5
billion.
