debis AirFinance Announces Lease of Two Fokker 100s to Pelita

 

debis AirFinance announced today that it has closed lease transactions for two Fokker 100s with the Indonesian carrier PT. Pelita Air Service. Pelita has taken delivery of the first aircraft (MSN 11444) on 22 June 2001. The second aircraft (MSN 11445) is scheduled for delivery in July 2001. The leases will run for 60 and 48 months respectively.

 

Pelita has been a longstanding customer of debis AirFinance. “We have had Fokker aircraft on lease to Pelita since 1996. Securing repeat business is always the most convincing proof that we are delivering on our business credo of developing long term relationships with our customers”, said Frank Haspel, CEO of debis AirFinance.

 

Pelita, which is 100% owned by Pertamina, provides Indonesian domestic air charter services, both fixed-wing and helicopters, for a.o. the oil industry since 1970, and started its domestic regular flight in July 2000. Total fleet of Pelita is 24 helicopters and 21 fixed wing.
