debis AirFinance Acquires Two Aircraft from Transamerica Equipment Financial Services

 

debis AirFinance announced the purchase of a Boeing 737-300 from the Aircraft Finance Group of Transamerica Equipment Financial Services. The transaction was completed on 24 August 2001. The aircraft is on lease to Frontier Airlines. This is the second aircraft that debis AirFinance has acquired from Transamerica Equipment Financial Services: The first one, an A320-200 on lease to Northwest Airlines, was purchased on June 29, 2001.

 

debis AirFinance has a total owned and managed fleet of 218 jets and turboprops (Boeing incl. MDC, Airbus, Fokker, ATR/DHC) worth around US$ 5 billion and an order of 32 Airbus A320-family aircraft valued at approximately US$ 1.5 billion. The company, headquartered at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, enjoys a worldwide presence with other offices in Shannon (Ireland) and Fort Lauderdale/Florida (United States).
