debis AirFinance Leases Four New Airbus A321s to MyTravel

debis AirFinance, one of the world's largest aircraft leasing and asset management companies, announced today that it has completed the purchase of four new Airbus A321-200 aircraft and has placed them with MyTravel Airways under a six year operating lease contract.

Three of the aircraft are leased to MyTravel Denmark and one to MyTravel UK. The incorporation of these aircraft into the MyTravel Airways fleet is part of the planned fleet rollover during the period 2002-2004. MyTravel has now completed taking delivery of the 220 seater aircraft for operation on chartered international routes. The A321s with the serial numbers 1881, 1921, 1932 and 1960 are powered by CFM56-engines.

debis AirFinance’s history of leasing to MyTravel Group dates back to 1995 through its asset management and service function for the securitisation vehicle AerCo.
