debis AirFinance Extends Relationship With Aigle Azur

Two B737-400 Placed With the French Carrier

 

debis AirFinance announced today that it has placed two B737-400 (MSN 23979 and MSN 25177) on operating lease with Aigle Azur.  MSN 23979 was delivered to the French carrier on March 26, delivery of MSN 25177 took place on April 2, 2003.  These aircraft joined a B737-400 on lease from debis AirFinance since May 2002 and expanded Aigle Azur’s B737-portfolio to a total of four aircraft.

 

“We are very pleased to further strengthen our relationship with Aigle Azur”, said Klaus W. Heinemann, Chief Executive Officer of debis AirFinance. “It shows our ability to identify growing airlines like Aigle Azur and to work closely with them to meet their fleet expansion requirements.”

 

debis AirFinance is manager of MSN 23979 and MSN 25177. MSN 23979 is owned by AerCo, an aircraft securisation entity which holds a portfolio of 61 aircraft.  debis AirFinance acts as servicer for AerCo.

 

French carrier Aigle Azur was founded in 1946 and provides charter and wet-lease services. The airline has been part of the GoFast Group since 2001.
