Corporate Receptionist (6 month fixed term contract )

Job summary

Working as part of the building management team, the Corporate Receptionist is a key support function for the facilities department. The Corporate Receptionist is primarily responsible for managing the front desk and ensuring the smooth running of meetings, hospitality, events, courier/post management and daily coordination with the executive/admin team.

To succeed, the Corporate Receptionist must pay meticulous attention to detail, exercise strong communication skills, be commercially focused, and be adept at managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Essential functions

  • Front of house reception duties including welcoming all visitors and staff
  • Booking and organising meeting rooms
  • Ordering taxis and booking travel arrangements for guests
  • Provide administrative support to departments as required
  • Dealing with a busy switchboard
  • Coordinate itineraries for visiting executives (including: organization of meetings and numerous other company personnel; catering arrangements; transportation arrangements; preparing detailed itineraries and distributing them)
  • Organizing and logging of access cards for all visitors
  • Monitoring and ordering office stationary and supplies
  • Manage and resolve queries on behalf of the facilities team 
  • Develop efficient and effective management information systems and procedures that allow swift and easy access to key documents and files
  • Manage ad-hoc special projects/events as allocated by the team

Job requirements, qualifications, and competencies


  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a corporate receptionist
  • Previous experience in a corporate receptionist role
  • Previous experience operating a switchboard an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional and positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Be proactive in dealing with issues which may arise
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel

  • Articulate with the ability to represent the company and deal with visitors and executive staff at the highest levels
