Job summary

AerCap is seeking a motivated person to join its Portfolio Management team within the Trading and End of Life Management function as a Trading Coordinator. The Aircraft Trading and End of Life Management team is responsible for the remarketing and sale of mature off-lease aircraft in support of a broader Portfolio Management strategy.

The Trading Coordinator responsibilities include updating and maintaining department sales reports and forecasts and initiating RFQs utilizing the company’s business intelligence platform (Salesforce), preparing draft Letters of Intent and Sale Agreements utilizing approved templates in support of aircraft sale activities, maintaining department calendars, and managing expense reports. The ideal candidate should have excellent project management skills, oral and written communication skills, be familiar with Salesforce and able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and PowerPoint. 

Essential functions

  • • Organize and schedule meetings as required
    • Maintain and prepare department sale reports
    • Document management including tracking countersignatures and approvals of high value contracts
    • Building Data Rooms by liaising with other departments and gathering technical information
    • Provide back up support to other team members
    • Draft Letters of Intent (LOIs) utilizing approved templates for high value aircraft transactions
    • Maintain the filing system for sales draft document activity
    • Coordinate travel arrangements for VP of Trading and Team with Corporate travel (BCD)
    • Reconcile and submit expense reports
    • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
    • Perform other administrative activities as assigned

Job requirements, qualifications, and competencies



  • • 5+ years proven experience as an administrative assistant, project analyst or project manager
    • Prior experience at an airline, aviation parts company or aircraft lessor advantageous
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Salesforce experience a plus
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects at a time
    • Ability to work under pressure within short time frames
