Financial Reporting & Analysis Senior Manager

Job summary

AerCap is seeking a motivated individual to join its Group Financial Reporting & Analysis team.
In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports (US GAAP financial statements as filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission) as well as supporting financial information and analysis. Additionally, you will support the business with accounting analysis of proposed and completed transactions, and other special projects. At AerCap you will be challenged to develop yourself, to extend your knowledge and skills and to proactively participate in projects and to improve company processes. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with relevant years of working experience in financial reporting and analysis.

Role responsibilities will include

  • Preparation of US GAAP/SEC compliant reporting at quarter and year ends
  • Preparation of financial information and analysis, including summaries of quarterly performance supporting external and internal reports and presentations
  • Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and controls
  • Drive development and enhancement of periodic accounting analysis
  • Ownership of cash flow models that support accounting analyses
  • Liaise with the commercial teams on the accounting for commercial transactions
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure efficient and timely quarterly review and year-end audit procedures
  • Other ad-hoc projects and duties as required
  • Microsoft Windows patching

Job requirements, qualifications, and competencies


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in an international environment including a big four audit firm
  • Relevant experience with Financial Reporting in an international environment (US GAAP is a plus)
